Will physiotherapy be covered by my extended health care plan?

Like dental care, most extended health care plans offer some coverage for physiotherapy. The amount of coverage you receive depends on the plan your company supplies or the plan your union has negotiated for you. You should consult your human resources department or call your carrier to find out the details of your coverage. Unfortunately due to Canadian privacy legislation we are unable to call your insurance company to confirm your coverage. This is something that only the policy holder can do.

Unlike pharmacists and dentists, the insurance industry does not allow us to bill them directly with a standard form or card. You may need to submit a claim form from your insurance carrier in order to be reimbursed.
